Bailey, my one-year-old poodle, has helped me grow. I’ve always struggled with sticking to a routine; I can be restless at times and habitual behaviors tend to bore me. But dogs love routine, and Bailey is no exception. Every morning, I can count on her to sit and wait patiently for her breakfast, a chance to go outside, and a small training session. Even if we only have time for one or two commands, Bailey wants to please and receive her reward.

This morning was no different.
