The weekend was winding down, sunlight starting to depart.  My family’s home now after a trip abroad and tending to checklists and re-entry tasks.  I grabbed my camera and headed to a nearby wildlife sanctuary.  As it’s full-on Spring now, waters are high and so I knew the waterfalls would be running.

And the sunlight was just right… peaking up over the horizon line and sending good light onto my subjects.

The post processing might be a wee tad heavy but my goal is always to show what I saw in the moment.  Granted, my sightlines tends toward heavy.

The weekend’s over and my photo walk was a fitting send off to it and to the beautiful golden light.

Now on to my own re-entry checklists…
