We headed to a familiar (to him) and unfamiliar (to me) location with our cameras. Our goal, initially, was to test two smaller primes from Fujifilm: the 27 pancake and the diminutive 18mm original walk-around. Joey took the 18, I had the 27. By the end of the day, we had swapped not only lenses but also impressions. I liked the 18, he the 27. The 27 remains in his kit as a slim go-everywhere option and the 18 is now gone from mine. It was too close to my other options, though I did like it very much.
The above shots are samples from these lenses. Both are recommended.
