Watch them wait.
They’re waiting so they can wait on a train.
They’re waiting so they can wait on a train so they can keep on waiting when they get home.
Wait for dinner to be ready. Wait for a television commercial to conclude. Wait for the bathroom to become available. All so that they can just do it all over again tomorrow.
We’re so busy waiting, we’re waiting through our whole lives.
Stop waiting. Start living.
Waiting means to delay action until something else happens.
To truly be in the present moment means that you pay attention to where you are, when you are, and what you are doing, without judgment.
You cannot wait and be truly present in a moment, and to be truly present is to be alive.
So stop waiting and start living.
