I love color. Bright, saturated, and bold. I’m especially drawn toward warmer tones of red, orange, and gold. As a result, my camera tends to point itself accordingly.

But…

… I’ve also dabbled in black and white photography as well, favoring the simpler and more nostalgic moods revealed once color is removed from sight.

Without color, it really is about the light and shadows. Textures and patterns. And mood.

Recently, I’ve been in a color down and mood up kind of mood. And recently, this has seemed like a good thing.
