Announcing Project #2

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Fujifilm has created film simulations for their cameras (and composingcatholic.com visitors know that Joey and I shoot nearly exclusively with Fujifilm cameras) designed to imitate their famous emulsions from the film era.  These include Velvia, Astia, Acros and others.  Kodak popularized Kodachrome which featured a slight desaturation along with a contrast boost.  Because Kodachrome is a Kodak brand, Fujifilm was forced to call their rendition: Classic Chrome.  I never had much use for it.  Until lately.  It provokes a sense of nostalgia for me, sending me back to the 1970s.  Over the coming week, I’m going to see everything through my 1970s eyes.  Minus the polyester.
