Project 3: Closer

The idea here was, very succinctly stated, to get closer. Even if that meant crowding into someone’s personal space. Much of the week included inanimate objects as subjects which never objected, but occasionally I dared to intrude onto people (who sometimes did). I’m not a natural portrait photographer, as is Joey, so many of those images are less post-worthy. Still though, I gained from this exercise as I did begin to see my surroundings through more of a macro or, at times, telescopic point of view.

  1. You may not consider yourself a portrait photographer Rey, but you are clearly good at macro photography. You know how to focus on the right spot and blur the spots that make it intriguing. I especially enjoyed the hands photo, the dog photo (of course), and the camera photo. Nicely done.
