When I think of Memorial Day, I immediately think of my uncle and namesake who made the greatest sacrifice just days before the end of WWII… during the final assault.  I think of all those who did the same.

But the task here was to capture something of the day for the 52 Projects Project.  You’ll see I’ve gone a bit stylized this week, emphasizing the one color that captures the spirit, the weekend, the sacrifice, the holiday.  It’s a contrast of sorts.
