Shadows are everywhere even though I wasn’t. In other words, but for a walk along the river over the weekend, I was largely home or office bound. Thank goodness for that walk.

Unlike projects 1 through 22, this one is going to continue as shadows are often the essence of photography and art. Look at the very best work and then pay attention to the shadows. They move your eyes through the composition, frame subjects, create mood and isolate to great effect. I’ve known this but spending a week looking for and at shadows punctuated the point for me.
