It has to be one of the most photographed spots on Earth.
Artists point pricey medium format image acquiring devices planted on expensive tripods into the scene. Casual photographers wave cellphones across the panorama and add pictures to their camera rolls with ease and without much thought.
Either way, it’s a scene worth capturing because it’s a scene worth remembering.
I did both. I utilized my expensive digital camera, set up carefully upon my tripod, and took great care to set the composition and fine tune the exposure. I also pulled my phone out of my pocket and quickly grabbed a shot, probably so I could text it to my family when back in a reasonable cellphone coverage area.
This image was taken on my Fujifilm X-T3.
