I spotted these rain-splattered leafs right as we exited our car. They were situated next to the start of the trail. After the hike was complete, we passed them again as we prepared to leave.

It’s funny; this small detail, one that I caught out of the corner of my eye and could have easily missed, ended up making for the best picture from that excursion.
