Sometimes, all we can do in the face of adversity is to continue. To continue along the path can seem like a simple thing, but in actuality, it can be immensely challenging.

To continue along the path is to continue working, studying, training, parenting, cooking, exercising, and even being during such a foreign, alien, and difficult time, and to continue fulfilling the expectations others have for us. It is what we need to do. It is what we are doing.

But a path reaches its end, a trail finds its destination, and our journey through this adversity will conclude.

My hope is that when that day comes and we reflect on his pandemic, we will feel pride in how we comported ourselves, in how we stayed true to our values, and in how we continued along the path.
