
So, so easy to look outside and see stormy, wet weather and then decide to stay put. Grab a cup of tea, find a good book, scan the Netflix offerings…
But today, between video conference calls, I decided to grab the largest umbrella I own (and the weather sealed Leica Q2) and head out to my favorite nearby park. It was quiet, solemn. I could hear raindrops falling onto the abandoned paths. The air was clear and clean, the puddles deep and my leaps over them broad. I felt like a small child again, even choosing to stomp into the middle of one of the largest puddles I encountered. There was no one there to disapprove.
I was alone but not lonely.
