I visited an outdoor mall tonight and had about 90 minutes to drain while I waited for someone at a nearby appointment. Because I had my Fujifilm X100V with me, which is what I tend to do these days, I thought I’d take a walk through the typically (very) hopping place. I’ve not been there since covid’s attack and so was struck by the solitude. Many stores are shuttered up, gone. Many closed due to shorter than normal hours. A few were open. Occasionally, I saw a couple of people stroll by. It was quiet. It was quaint. It was sad.
