It’s not as though I’m a stranger to the power of constraint, it’s just that I never thought it would go this far. Color is out of the equation, so I can be distracted by even less. Now, compared to before, it’s much less.

Color as distraction. That leaves the light. The textures. Leading lines. Shadows.

Closer. Smaller. Simpler. This is what remains.

See less. So that I can see more.

I know, I know.

But I’ll have more to say on this point as this is now the focus.
