I’ve been appreciating black and white photography lately and mulling over whether I favor high contrast images where the whites are white and the blacks are black. Or the more subtle gray tone renderings that Joey tends to post. Contrary to my co-blogger, I think I might be leaning toward a style that crunches up the details and pushes the tones toward darker and toward lighter.

This is a simple example… small waves approaching a sandy shore.
