This week’s project is dedicated to the love of books (and those special places that house them). The digital age doomed them. Prudent planners said: ‘why invest in libraries?’…
But many of the towns around my own, including my own, all have brand new libraries filled with reading rooms and stacks filled with books. They are temples to discovery.

The last image above is of a quaint library in Dennis, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. According to its website: “The actual building, dated around 1856, the epitome of ‘gingerbread’ American Gothic, has every bit as whimsical a history. Like so many other sturdy Cape buildings, it may have been moved from somewhere else. But from where?”
