
High contrast. High whites. High blacks. High clarity. High key.
It’s a style I’ve never emphasized and so that made it a perfect candidate for one of the 52 projects in my year long 52 Projects Project. Often utilized for portraits, I’ve enjoyed experimenting with the style for landscapes as well.
In the end, I don’t know that I’d add this into my style portfolio but it was fun playing around with it for a week.


And here’s a… uhm… bonus shot. Not taken by me. This is what happens when you hand a two year old a camera and teach him how to press the shutter button. And there you have it, after one shot, he is officially a better portrait photographer than I am.
