Because 365: The Final Because

The three photographers who contributed images to this project.

And just like that, the 365 Day photography project I embarked upon last year has come to an end. When this endeavor began, I set out to answer the question: why photography? Why do I take pictures and post them online? Along the way, my father joined me in this effort, and towards the end my nephew, Gabriel, pitched in a portrait.

I am happy to report that after ten months, I have my answer; I know why I photograph. Now, I am really excited to get started on the e-book that will chronicle this project, the insights we gleaned, and all the photographs captured.

Thank you to all the wonderful followers of this blog who have liked, commented, and viewed the images generated during this project. It is a wild feeling to send images out into the ether, but it puts a smile on my face to know that at least one person enjoyed seeing it!

  1. Congrats, Joey! I always love seeing your photos, by the way. They add much to my day whenever I find them in my inbox.

The final portrait is a keeper!
