Down From a Shelf

What brings you hope, release, respite? It’s important to know.

My daughter was right: it’s best not to pour your aspirations for peace, joy, calm, and rest into a container only to place that container up on a shelf to longingly admire. It’s better to – instead – sprinkle some of that all over yourself, your tasks and obligations, and as many in your path as possible every single day. It doesn’t take much to make a difference.
